How did phil know where charlotte lived?

As many times as i've seen this it never crossed my mind until i read a review on CINEMA DE MERDE which asked it and it made me wonder. She left the party as phil confronted joe bob who was hassling her and he has him in a chokehold until seth breaks it up and lectures phil. She would've been gone by then and nobody knew who she was so how was he able to find her residence?

I'm watching it now and this scene always bothered me a bit. There must have been something cut out somewhere.

We used to have these things called "phone books", back in the old days.

Since he knew her name, he might have looked her up in the phone book, and that book would have listed her address as well.

I know it sounds ridiculous today, but there used to be a book that got delivered to everyone's house that had the printed address of everyone in town. Today I suppose that would be considered a violation of privacy somehow. Not to mention dangerous.

Rofl! I was alive in the era of phone books and it didn't even occur to me that's how he got her address. How freaking ridiculous is that? My how times have changed.

This question occurred to me as well. Maybe he followed her home from the party; or maybe she told him her address at some point during the party (but wasn't shown in the film).
