Was Mr.T in ND40?

During the daytime, open-air training session, just after the brawl between Joe Bob and the other guy, the players break them up and a black player with a mohawk haircut steps forward and says something.

He looked like Mr. T to me, but he is not in the credits.

Looking at his CV, he would have been available for a walk-on part about then.

He did say a couple of words, so could have been credited.

Was it him?

Edit: I saw the film on a cable channel (Fox Classics) that runs again 2 hours later. I taped a short segment which shows the player does not have a mohawk cut but has very thick curly hair and beard which could be cut that way. I am firm on him looking very much like Mr. T.

During the fight all the players are yelling, but the camera focuses onto the black player as he speaks, as if it was something we were meant to hear. I could not understand it and Fox Classics does not show captions.

any ideas?

I don't know about Mr. T. But I think John Goodman was an extra in the movie.
