Remake of love at first bite

Would you like it if they made a remake of it?

reply

if your gonna make a comedy out of dracula, you cant replace actors like george hamilton and arte johnson!

no way, that movie shouldn't be remade! I'm sick of people wanting remakes, leave it alone.

Roseanne:You're not a prevert honey, You're a pervert

I totally agree with you that this movie should not be remade at all! It just could not be done with the actors of today I hate to say it but like someone mentioned possibly after so many years since this move was done they could do a sequel with the original cast which I think might work out.

- A remake? No neva' - The movie was great both for the script and the cast, and now there is no actor who can match the ones in the original movie, who had a great chemistry together - the scene in the restaurant, the one in the hotel room with the drunk Drac and the first meeting of Drac and Cindy are a good exemplum of that chemistry.
- A sequel? Maybe, you know it could be very very hard to explain why the vampires, who had to remain young forever, have suddenly aged - the pollution maybe just altered their cellular structure ;-)

Yes and no...

I would like to see how modern actors would do while Disco/waltzing but as long as Angelina Joelie or Michele Gellar(sorry don't know her name) didn't play Cindy, I'm open for it.

Dracula: Gary Oldman (Just see him do a comedy and see him as Dracula again

Reinfield: As long as it isn't Adam Sandler.

Cindy: Jennifer Aniston or someone in that league.

Rosenfield/Van Helsing: Brad Pitt? LOL (just joking I think. hehe)

Not a remake. But the intended sequel called "Divorce Vampire Style", would have been hilarious, if done right, and with the same cast. But it wasn't meant to be.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of my favorite movies ever, I hope they never do a remake of it! I wouldn't watch it. I don't think anyone could come close to being as funny as George Hamilton, Arte Johnson and Richard Benjamin are in it.

A terrible disclosure's just been made.
Then zip it up!

I think political correctness might kill part of it. Times were different then.

George Clooney.....Count Vladimir Dracula

Sienna Miller......Cindy Sondheim

Martin Short.......Mr. Renfield

The problem with a remake is that the actors, Hamilton in particular, really played it straight. Hamilton's Dracula never became a cartoon character, or a slapstick goofball, depsite all the hilarious situations he was involved in. Modern audiences are so used to their comedy films being exaggerated and goofy that we'd end up with a clown as Dracula.
