Diane Lane Remembers 'Romance' on 2003 DVD of film

I just bought the DVD of this great movie. There is a six minute feature on the disc with Diane Lane remembering the filming of this movie.

She says NOTHING about her co-star Thelonious Bernard who played Dianiel. She gushes about Sir Lawrence but nothing about Bernard. I think she is just rude as Bernard had a bigger part then "Sir.Lawrence". Maybe some day they will find Bernard and give him the credit he deserves.

It's weird that someone so talented just vanishes in to thin air

She DID mention Thelonious Bernard in the documentary but it was edited out by the DVD producers, as apparently Thelonious wants nothing to do with the film or the fillm industry.

This is just "craziness", Why would he want nothing to do with this wonderful film? I'll bet somthing BAD happened while this film was being shot. What a waste of talent!! The-Phantom

Why? Take a look at the news about Britney Spears and Anna Nicole Smith the past few weeks. It probably isn't the movie Thelonious Bernard is avoiding, but rather the trappings of fame. BTW, according to what I've read Bernard is a dentist in Nantes.

I'm pretty sure I remember Diane saying that the young boy hated her so it was hard for them both, maybe that's why he wants nothing to do with it which is stupid, it's a lovely film ..... but I'm just remembering from an interview I saw with her many years ago.
