Ahh. Diane Lane.
She was so pretty in that movie, i couldn't stop staring at her. I actually paused it to see all of her emotions during the film. Quite a Lady!
Whats life without Diane Lane.

I agree. Beautiful lady. Great actress.
shareI saw this movie when it came out in 79, and have been a Diane Lane fan ever since...She is so cute in this movie, and a good actress as well...
shareDiane Lane in this movie is the most beautiful little girl I have ever seen in my life. Just jaw-dropping beautiful. Actually, she may be a close second to Brooke Shields, but still...
better than Shields--no monobrow... :)

there it is, there it is, your comment. what you said is what I just posted here. I couldn't stop staring at her in this film. she is so delightful and mercurially beautiful. my gosh. there is one look she gives late in this film where I couldn't believe how beautiful and magical and luminous she looks. the thing that I couldn't believe is she obviously was really young when she was in this movie, a low teenager but she also has another look that is a look of a completely adult and completely developed woman. I've never seen a girl so young who has this. do you know what I am talking about? it's in her eyes. and it's amazingly beautiful and amazingly rarely beautiful. I swear she can't look any better as an adult as she does in this film. her beauty puts most full grown women to shame. she is in this film one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. she has jaw dropping, inspiring, luminous, alluring beauty. she is so captivatingly beautiful and irresistible in this film. and she has this exotic, world renowned, world class, elegant beauty that is amazing to behold. she is so charming in this film.
shareI was just eleven when this movie came out, but I fell hard for Diane Lane. I have enjoyed watching many other of her movies (she's sexier now, of course) but whenever I see her, I still think of A Little Romance.
shareI was 13, and so was she. I fell hard, too!
I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.
it's an inimitable and enduring role. she'll be loved and remembered for it and her performance forever.
shareSomehow I managed to avoid noticing Diane Lane until 1996. I'm sure I must have seen her, but she did leave an impression on me. Then I took my 11 year old son to see "Jack". I was mesmerized with her, and to a lesser degree this young girl named Lopez. Throughout her 30's, 40's and now 50's, Diane Lane has been a favorite of mine to gaze upon.
So today I saw mention that this was her first movie, done at age 13, and it was free on Amazon Prime! It was a fun movie, not great but not bad. Despite Diane Lane not yet having a mature, adult look, she was definitely beautiful. I took a look at some of the still from "...the Stains", and she still had a kid look at 15 - but a promo photo for that movie done when she was 17 showed her as a beautiful adult.

I just made a post about her in this film.
there has never been a more, attractive, cute, wholesome, sexy, or beautiful young girl as her ever, in the history of the world. OH MY GOSH! I was so smitten and I've never swooned so hard for a young girl in a movie as I did for her. my gosh, how was she so immaculately, delicately, perfectly, cutely, warmly, innocently, appealingly attractive in this film???!!! I mean, I've never been so love struck, enamored by, sexually attracted to, intrigued by, engaged to, drawn to, stunned by, loved, or had as much of a crush on a young girl ever. she was the epitome of perfection and young girl cuteness, beauty, intelligence, attraction, attractiveness, and charisma, and screen presence, and lovableness.
