carttoon version L.W.+W.

My wife is wondering where she can find the cartoon version of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe she saw on T.V. as a kid. Possibly in the late 70's, or early 80's- in the U.S. She remembers Aslan with an American accent, and the girls walking Aslan up the hill to the Stone Table, and the mice, and that is about all she remembers. No libraries seem to have it, what should she look for in her search. She would prefer the one she remembers, since she doesn't know if the British Accents that everyone is talking about is the same one she remembers. If they are the same film, the voices don't matter.

Aslan is voiced by the British actor Stephen Thorne. In fact, Aslan is the only character who has the same voice in both the American and British versions (apart from the voices, the British and American versions are the same movie).

I think both versions have been released on DVD (the version I have is the British one, but I think if you check out Amazon, the American version is the one on sale in the States).
