this was on tv sometime over the christmas holidays.i watched it and i remembered it from when i was a kid.is this available in the uk on dvd?

It is out on dvd in Sweden atleast....bought it on new year.

It's out in the USA on DVD. I bought mine back in December 2005, I think. It was like $10 at Wal-Mart.
