I just watched this for the first time.

I still haven't read any Narnia Books. I recall that the films never mention "The Emperor Beyond The Sea"

In this we never see Father Christmas, which I found slightly disappointing, the weapons are given by Aslan.

I love how Aslan actually rolls his eyes as the Queen is rambling.

For some reason, them calling Aslan a "Fool" during the Passion scene made me think of The Wicker Man.

The scene where the girls jump on Aslan's back could have been handled differently.

What was wrong with the scene where the girls jump on Aslan's back? What were you expecting?

They where pretty difficult to miss. Animation usually avoids those no matter how unrealistic it would be to do so.

I also watched The Lorax, who's board I will be posting on soon.

Does the VHS of Return of the King have any differences form the DVD?

I managed to miss it.

I am unaware of any differences between the VHS and DVD on RotK. But then, I haven't watched it that many times, since I detest it.

It's a complicated case for sure.

What did you think of the music score?

Not much

You probably didn't pay any attention to it. It's by Michael Lewis, the same composer who helped write the score for the television series In Search Of.... It's extraordinarily affecting, a remarkable score. No other 'Narnia' adaption score comes up to it.

I was pleased to discover it available on Amazon:

I think you enjoy it more cause it's Nostalgic for you. I'm not particularly effected by In Search of.... either.
