Funniest movie ever made!!

Without a doubt. I love it!!

reply

you can enjoy it, but it was definitely NOT the funniest ever made, in fact, it's not even in the top 10

"There has been a lot of lying in this family."
"And a lot of love."
"More lies."

It is definitely a classic film though to watch.

In no particular order

1. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

2. Stir Crazy

3. Car Wash

4. Half Baked (the first time I saw this, I nearly died just from the woman and the horse scene)

5. Young Frankenstein

6. A Fish Called Wanda (again, I nearly went into cardiac arrest from the 'threat')

7. Cheech & Chong movies

8. Uptown Saturday Night

9. Dolemite! (though, I confess, I have never seen this guy, but off of short clips on Youtube and I am dying from laughter)

Young Frankenstein

Those are some great classic films right there to watch! I have a couple of them on DVD. Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein is definitely hilarious and a great classic to watch!

I rated it 1 just to keep the rating down. It deserves something between 4 and 6. Who could seriously look beyond Martins *beep* acting? It's impossible to focus on anything else. Sure, it had some fun moments, but not enought to give it higher than a 6.

reply

Well this was back when Martin was younger in the early 80's and things were looked at differently than now a days. I loved the film and enjoyed watching it.

That is a good list of films that you have there that are comical to watch!

This is definitely a comical film to watch. I use to see it aired a lot back in the 80's. I saw that they were showing this on AMC yesterday and I have not seen it in years. It is hilarious to watch!

A dumb movie, but I found it funnier and funnier as it went along.

See before I started watching USA UP ALL NIGHT some of the films that I watched shown on there I thought were like corny and stupid. As time went on watching those kinds of films it opened my mind up to being able to watch them and enjoy them as well because they did get comical to watch. I liked The Jerk and thought it was hilarious with Steve Martin especially working as a gas attendant and the detective is with a sniper riffle I believe it was hitting the oil cans. "Man these cans are defective!" I would know and so would you that if you heard a clinking sound and saw a round hole in an object that someone was shooting at you. It is common sense.

It's funny, but it's not even Steve Martin's best much less the funniest of all time. The Man With Two Brains is a lot funnier than The Jerk.

reply

Yes and he even invented to cranial screw top in that, a method that needs to implemented more in modern day brain surgery!

reply

Definitely a Classic it's in my top 10 but I would have to rate Blazing Saddles as #1.

reply

Agreed, Bo. Totally hilarious. It's a little dated now, but most of the jokes are still fantastic. It has aged remarkably well.

reply

Wow this movie really made my day.I had no idea! It has to be one of the funniest ever indeed..
