two main things in common:
1. the main character, a hick, is thrust into an urban evironment, out of his league
2. The main character pays for a hooker just to talk to her
3. main character beats up bad guys who use innocent women turned into wild girls (hookers; porn actresses) and then in turn saves the wayward gal.
oh... and PETER BOYLE. but that doesnt really count.
