Terrible Score

I couldn't believe how awful the musical score was for this movie. Watched it for the first time in over 30 years this week. Then again, I'm not an Elmer Bernstein fan. Just dreadful!

The scoring reminded me of the National Geographic and Cousteau specials from 60's, which I thought fit in with the Carolinian wetlands sets...no complaints from me.

It started off sounding like a typical '70s tv series or tv movie score, but I think it got better later in the movie.
