It definitely has what an exploitation W.I.P. picture should. I've got the DVD, but I hope this gets a nice US hi-rez release. There has been a French blu-ray, but with no English audio or English subs. There are a number or German blu-ray variations coming soon that are supposed to have English audio. Hopefully a US release follows.
The end, as is often the case with these types, was pretty abrupt. Does the doctor live? So they get to the river, but then what? Seemed like the point of getting to the river was to be away from their pursuers. But pursuers are all dead, so no hurry now. It was never clear to me what they planned to escape to once they got across the river.
