I have a first edition of the Novel Beyond the Poseidon Adventure

i picked the novel up on sale. it was ineteresting because in the story Paul Gallico wrote, Mike Rogo, Manny Rosen and James Martin return to the Poseidon. Rogo has demanded at gunpoint to be returned to the Poseidon to see the secret shipment he had been aboard to guard. There is a lil blurb on the books dust jacket that tells a short synopsis of what happens in the novel. The book we is a dedication to the Irwin Allen. interstin enough is that there is a foreward from paul gattico explaining that Beyond the Poseidon is a book sequel to the movie inspired by his novel and goes to explain how the ending etc was different so the story is not a sequel to his novel but the movie that Irwin Allen produced.

I used to have this novel, too. Never saw the movie sequel, but I remember the book having a fairly interesting plot line. Where did you find your copy of it? At a local resale shop, or ???

I remember reading that too. Wasn't there some beautiful but witchy woman named Hellie or something like that. I seem to remember she is kind of like the Telly Savalas character in the movie- after something on the Poseidon like a treasure or a nuclear device.

hey sorry i hadnt replied earlier. i barely go on imdb. i found it in a bookstore. some random book store in Glendale cali.
