Look at all the Oscar/Emmy winners and nominees in this movie. I'm surprised that it wasn't better.

Oscar Winners: Shirley Jones, Sally Field, Karl Malden, Michael Cain,
Nominee, Shirley Knight who won an Emmy...Other Emmy Winners: Peter Boyle, Telly Savalas. I think Mark Harmon was nominated for an Emmy also.

I haven't had the chance to see this movie, Obviously they don't play it on TV much. I wish it would come out on DVD.

Jack Warden is an Emmy winner (for Brian's Song) and an Oscar nominee. Veronica Hamel is a five-time (I just checked) Emmy nominee for Hill Street Blues.

It's on DVD now... and it's not as bad as people say it is.
