Few questions

Few questions:

1.) Who is Suzanne really and what is her purpose to the story? Was she Stefan's lover?

2.) Why on earth would the Poseidon be carrying plutonium? I never heard of a passenger cruise liner on a final voyage carry a highly volatile chemical before.

reply

1) Suzanne was Stefan's partner, more or less. There may have been a romance for the audience to decide, but she was on the poseidon to guard the plutonium and make sure it made a safe trip. When in did not, Telly came along. I get the feeling he didn't expect to see her alive (remember the way they look at eachother when they first "meet."

2)The plutonum was on the poseidon because it was the only way Telly's character could transport it to America without looking suspicious.

Hope that helped.

reply

1)Suzanne was Stefans lover/accomplice/plant on the ship.
2)The ships standards would have been lowered enough at the end so that they wouldnt notice that something called "Sprague pumps" (or was it spare parts?)would actually be a big suspicious looking can with odd logos on it.

That's basicallt what I said, wasn't it?

I got a question: What about those scenes?

~In my ear it blew it's name, it sounded strange, but I heard it plain, Mistral, Mistral Wind. ~

reply

What about the scenes? What are they? There are 45 minutes of scene extensions/extra scenes. The first "big" one shows Caine and Malden going to check out the ship before Stefan shows up. There is a sort of cool matte painting showing them walking up to the escape hole and the 4 screws above them. There is a lot more dialogue scenes with more plot (Teresa is pregnant, The blind guy is a world famous author, etc)Hope that helps.
