Well I love anything from Alistair Mac lean and this film even it is not very good it has a mood I cannot forget guess that is that I first saw this film when I was very young and fell in love with Alistair maclean.
But did watch this on tv last night and did see something interesting. When u see the closing credits on the last page you can see:
"coming soon : Goodbye California". ?????
That is also a book from A.M. Did they make this film. ?
I too really enjoyed this movie and am surprised it is not more popular. Great cast too.
shareI still remember seeing this movie two times during the original release with two separate family members when I was almost 12. One of them was a nutcase who generally didn't care for movies, but he really liked it, too! It's always stumped me as to why this film tanked--I saw it at a cinema that played movies after their weak initial run for a bargain ticket price!!! Why would a thriller with strong plot, great cast, exciting action scenes fail???

shareThought it was very good, Great cast Donald Sutherland was really excellent in it and loved the music score.Don't understand the low rating either, thought it was as good as Ice Station Zebra.
