'he died immidetly without having to suffer.' - true?

i saw the movie, but i guess i didn't keep track of this - when the soldierboy went to the home of the killed soldier to tell the mother the son had died, he said he died immidetly, but the mother didn't believe it, and they kept on about it. so i was wondering, was the soldierboy being honest or not?

hold me tight,
and i won't be affraid tonight,
you rock me with a heavy beat,
and your care gives me a heavy breathe,
you give feeling i can't fight,
a power too might,
did i make some bad choices,
through all my wandering and noises,
i'll hand it over to you, its safer i tend to hense,
sometimes i think everything i say is nonesense,
but you make it all seem so easy and smooth,
things feel soothing with you.

No, it was not true. In fact, you can tell this by Paul's reactions to the mother when he tells her the news. The fact he pauses so much and seems reluctant to swear anything would confirm how he died, even if it was not already shown.

In the novel, Kemmerich's mother is told by Paul that her son's death was quick, even though he died a lingering death in hospital.

He told Kemmerich's mother that he died quickly, though he was in the hospital after having to have his leg amputated.

You should pay more attention to movies you watch. :)

There were several scenes showing his friend in a hospital bed, they where even arguing about who had 'dibs' on his boots cause he lost a leg!

Don't know what's more annoying, your stupid question or that poem you have as your signature lol.
