The Narrator

Does anybody think the narrator is Robert Stack? I think it sure sounds like him... I don't see a credit for the narrotor at the end of the movie or online anywhere, and it's not in Robert Stack's filmography. He was willing to be in the Transformers cartoon at roughly the same time, Beavis and Butthead do America (cavity search LOL) and comedy classics like Airplane! and hosting/narrating was right up his alley.

Anyway, I sure think it sounds like him. Other opinions? Other ideas?

I've used IMDB for 7 years or so, and always found the answers I wanted, except for this one!

"It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not."

OMG, I can't believe I actually found a post about this!

My husband bought this dvd set a few years ago and was playing them the other night. I was half listening when the narrator's voice caught my ear. I said "That sounds like the guy who hosted Unsolved Mysteries!". Then I remembered Robert Stack's name. The dvds were dubbed and had no info that I could find.A search on IMDB was fruitless, a general google search also turned up nothing.

This is driving me nuts.

While I wouldn't rule out Robert Stack, I have a feeling that the narrator may just be a sound-alike announcer. That was the way people talked on tv back then ;)

some need to go up 1 or down 1:
