Live action movie coming ,Who would you cast in the starring roles?

Who would you cast in the live action version of Starblazers Journey to Iscandar
Here's my cast list for the major characters

Captain Avatar - Bernard Hill
Derek Wildstar - Jake Gyllenhaal
Mark Venture - Brandon Routh
Nova - Kate Winslet
Sandor - Viggo Mortensen
Desslok - Jeremy Irons
Queen Starsha - Cate Blanchett
Doctor Sane - Kelsey Grammer
Chief Orion - Patrick Stewart

I'd have to say one thing though if they made a sequel based on the comet empire series and if he was still alive .Christoper Lee would be the perfect Prince Zordar no question about it.

John Rhys-Davies or Brian Dennehy would have made a great Avatar a decade ago, but they both are looking a bit too unimposing these days. Both of them fit the description well, but I would think that Dennehy would have brought more to the role. Rhys Davies can do bluster like nobody's business, but Dennehy has a harder edge to him.
Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Sane would not only be hilarious, but the Sane character's name is also a play on Grammer's TV role as a psychiatrist.

Not to jinx him or anything, but the last I knew, Christopher Lee is still alive!

I know that Christopher Lee is still alive ,I just meant that if they ever make
a movie about the Comet Empire series that if he was still alive at that point that he would make a great Prince Zordar.

Voice of IQ-9?
Robots today don't have to have the high, tinny voice. I think it might sound more like HAL9000 or C3PO than the Enterprize NCC-1701 computer.

Remember he could partly disassemble himself? I'd like to see that expanded on a bit. Maybe he could be made up of nine modules? Thus, IQ-9?

How can Captain Avatar be anyone but Edward James Olmos? For that matter, we could probably have half the cast of BSG take rolls in Star Blazers movie.

The part of General Lysis/Admiral Domel should be played by none other than Henry Rollins. He's made for that roll. I mean playing someone so arrogant should come naturally to him.
