Another Anime that was out around this time....

Does anyone recall the name of the cartoon, I think it was about 5 orphans and they all had bird themes. they had one big ship that held all their vehicles and I'm pretty sure the base of operations was under an island. Or was I just REALLY high?

That was Battle of the Planets (G-Force). Damn I feel old.

That's right - it was called "Battle of the Planets" for North American TV, but I just found out that it was an edited version of a show called "Gatchaman" (probably the "G" in G-Force?), which was more violent.

They are both listed on this site.

Yes G-Force was another of may favorites growing up. Also Voltron season 1 was great.
