i believe it was sandor and wildstar who were trapped in this pit that looked like it was made out of big league chew pink bubble gum. bound at the wrists and ankles, one of them ended up removing his hands and feet to escape and the other carried him back to the Argo limbless and he was put into the infirmary.

The Argo wandered into a minefield. The mines were closing in on the Argo, and they being controlled by a central satellite. Wildstar and Sandor fly over to the satellite, infiltrate it, and destroy its core which had an intelligence. Sandor had bionic limbs as the result of a childhood accident, so Wildstar removed Sandor's arms and legs which were implanted with explosives. Sandor had to stay behind so he could detonate the explosives. Once the satellite was destroyed, Wildstar goes back to look for Sandor who had this freakishly evil look on his face. Afterwards, the Black Tiger crew cleared a path in the minefield for the Argo to escape.
that sounds a lot like the episode Desslok Mines? but in that one IQ and Sandor deactivated the mines and then the black tigers removed them by hand. anyone else have a guess as too which one Sandor loses his limbs in?

shareOh yeah. I think you're right. I got the episodes confused. The Mangetron wave was the one I was trying to remember where Wildstar and Sandor infiltrate the satellite and destroyed the core. The Desslok Space Mines was the one where the Black Tiger crew cleared a path through the minefield by hand.
