I tend to agree with Barking Spider-Man. There have been a few announcements over the years about a live action Star Blazers movie, but everything is always tied up in pre-production. Nothing ever seems to get done for one reason or another. It is something to look forward to, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Yes but the Yamato live action movie is coming out in 1 year. It is filming as we speak. I would rather have a Yamato movie then anything Disney would create. Besides unlike Macross/ Robotech the story of Yamato is the same as Star Blazers. So yes very soon we are going to see the big girl in live action. I am extremely curious what its going to look like. So yes I cannot wait till 2010!!!!!

OMG!!!! HAVE YOU SEEN THE TRAILER!!! Most of my fears have now been put to rest. It looks beautiful. I am a little worried about the script bur so far the dialogue is straight out of the TV show. It always good to see the big girl is action.
