Three Questions... No, Four

1. I've just finished watching the Quest for Iscandar on DVD, and something I vaguely recall from the syndicated televised version seems to be missing. When the Star Force encounterd the Magnatron, which emitted waves of magnetic resonance, I seem to recall many of the crew were in the Holotron, enjoying themselves on the beach, when their garments suddenly began to come apart, leading to comic pandemonium. I recall Dr Seine using the cat to cover his junk (say, where is that cat? I haven't seen it at all so far!), and the cat objected and began biting and clawing. Am I recalling incorrectly? Is this sequence from somewhere else in the series, or is it just missing from the DVD?

2. Whatever became of General Lysus? English Starblazers leaves this hanging. I'm sure the Japanese version is more complete. Does anyone know?

3. The Desslokk Cannon reflected off the Argo, and destroyed Desslokk's ship. His face was seen to dissolve in flames. That looks pretty final. How is it that he's still alive in Series II: The Comet Empire?

4. Does anyone else have this DVD set? The series ended abruptly, and there are no ending credits. Is this true of your versions?

1. Wasn't that particular episode in the Comet Empire series? I'll have to double check next time I watch.

2. I'm not sure what happens to Lysis in the Japanese version, but in the English version, Lysis makes an appearance in The Comet Empire series during an introduction of military leaders.

3. Didn't Desslok escape through a hatch?

4. I'll have to double check next time I watch.

1) eps was in the Comet Empire series early on before getting to Telezart - they got stuck in a void - I thnk the eps was called The Time Trap

2) General Lysis blows up his ship that was attached to the underside of the Argo - US vers made it look like he retreated back to Gamilon - no, he's dead

3) He warp his ship before he exploded and the Comet Empire found him in space and revived him - it's in the Comet Empire series

4) Series didnt end abruptly - they are all there 26 eps for each Season
