first class drama
I remember Rumpole first time around on TV, and to my shame I didn't appreciate it at the time. However through repeats on ITV 3, I have come to regard it as one of the finest dramas ever. Leo Mc Kern and the supporting actors are first class. Requires repeated viewing!
