Anyone remember when Johnny Carson used to ridicule "Hello, Larry" in his "Tonight Show" monologues?

I wish I could remember some of the specifics. Johnny would poke fun at the show as a bad sitcom with a stupid title. But after almost 30 years, I'm at a loss to remember the jokes.

man, thats sad that we can only remember that someone made fun of this show, cant remember anything about the show, cant even remember what the jokes about the show were

Acussed here of being a 12YO or an 8YO, as if either of those were bad things!

I suspect Carson's joking about 'Hello, Larry' is part of the reason why this show had such a bad reputation at the time -- rather than the merits of the show itself.
