This NEVER Was A Spin Off Of Diff'rent Strokes!

I always assumed it was due to the crossovers between both shows. I found out later Hello Larry started on it's own, but they did the crossover episodes to help boost sagging ratings. That didn't help either.

You're right it was never a spin off. I guess it would be called a sister show.
