I've been watching the series on hallmark movies and mysteries channel and it's coming up on the last episode of the series tomorrow. I was looking at the synopsis of the finale and it seems like just another random episode, not like a 'finale'. Was the last episode planned as the last episode or was the show abruptly cancelled ?
shareThe show was abruptly cancelled. Season 5 was really very bad with respect to the stories and the writing of those stories. There was a plan to sort of refresh with new writers,and there were ideas for new stories for these eps of what was assumd to be s6, but then the decision was made over hiaitus that it would be cancelled, so that was that. There are TV movies that ame out in the years after, so add'l content is there, but as for the original series and that last episode, that's what happened.
