(spoilers) The thing I love the MOST about this show...

Is the KINDNESS of the Harts.

I mean they are VERY wealthy people. it is never really stated--but likely have a net worth at at LEAST 20 million in 015 dollars. They often go on lavish vacations, Jennifer has nice jewels and they have nice cars. Also a beautiful home, and at least one vacation home too...

So...this sounds like a "typical rich couple" RIGHT ???

WRONG !!!! They are portrayed as ANYTHING---but a typical greedy, pompus rich jet-setting couple!!!

In MANY episodes...the Harts use their OWN time and money--sometimes a LOT of it...to help someone else. Often--they get drawn into some sort of situation where someone they know or love--is having some sort of trouble. Instead of saying something like "oh...I'm sorry to hear about that "...and then heading out to the country club or golf course..they get INVOLVED and HELP that person, even if it means spending their own money to do so. Often it will mean they put themselves in danger also--this does NOT deter them from helping someone.

Sure there is a healthy amount of romance in this show--but it NEVER goes above the "PG" level--and is always done in good taste. There is ALSO a lot of action--when Robert Wagner has to deal with some crook or preventing someone from hurting someone. Stefanie Powers also sometimes gets into this act also.

It is just so different..the portrayal of this couple from the stereotypical rich couple. And it is something that I ALWAYS liked--from the time this series was new !!!
