Looking for episodes where . . . (FOUND! See 3/28/2009 Update)

. . . Jennifer is in so much danger or is so emotionally distraught that she cries. She doesn't cry that much that I remember, but there were a few eps that I seem to remember. I was pretty young when this was on, and it was my all time favorite show at the time. I just started watching it again :-). There's an ep I remember that I loved so much, and all I remember was that Jennifer cried; it was a later ep, I believe. So, I figure if I watch enough eps where she cries, I'll remember, "ooh, this is the one!" Silly, I know, but I was a kid, I jsut don't remember any other details! Anyone?

Hostage Harts (the one where Jonathan was kidnapped) and Hart of Diamonds (Jennifer was unknowingly hypnotized into stealing and they have to deal with the ramifications of her actions) were the two that I recall where Jennifer was the most distraught.

Thanks very much for the tips. It could be either of these, but a hostage situation is ringing a bell with me; I just have a couple images, here, it's frustrating. I went to both eps here in IMDB, but neither one have the whole episode to watch listed with it, so I'll have to wait till they get to the third season on my local station; right now they're in the first half of the second season. I may google a H2H clip site . . .

Youtube has some full eps, and even a couple of the full movies. Hostage Harts is one of them, though not Hart of Diamonds (just a couple of clips, which is a shame because it is one of my favs.) The shows are broken down into 4 or 5 parts, the movies are in 8 to 9 parts each.

Thanks, Rimmel. I just got thru Hostage Harts on youtube, and that was not it. There's another image popping in my head of Jennifer running into Jonathan's arms and crying into his shoulder, but that's such a nebulous image. Might not even be the right ep. But Hart of Diamonds I'm gonna search for next. If all else fails, I do have it Tivo'd every day, so I'm bound to find it :-)

Hi Hilary, I think you're looking for "The wayward hart", the scene where Jennifer gets a phone call reporting that Max is dead: she starts crying and leans into Jonathan's arms.
Check it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWNJZ4WMwoI&feature=related

Let me know.... :-))

Hi gheberel! Thank you for pointing me to that one. I watched it, but I don't think that's it. I'm actually beginning to doubt my memory, because as I've watched these every day now, I'm remembering some of them and saying to myself, "wow, that's so not how I remembered it!" Some good some bad ;-). Like the one where Stanley gets arrested when the bad guys try to make him a fall guy, I had no idea that was the one where he ended up in the water with the dead guy and the knife in his back until I saw that specific scene, and I remembered he was gonna say, "I didn't do it! I didn't do it!" And in retrospect, my recollection was that I loved the episode that scene was tied to, but when I finally saw the scene (near the end), I didn't remember a lick of the episode around it! So, I was a kid, and I loved it, no question. And I remember many episodes in dribs and drabs, but I don't trust my memory around the one scene where she's crying anymore.

So, since these are on every day, and I'm watching them every day loving them all over again, I figured I'd just go in order and when I find it, I'll be pleasantly surprised and enjoy it anew! If they go at the rate they're current showing them, then Hart of Diamonds -- as that might be it, and the snips on youtube look so great -- will be on in about three more weeks.

I'm making a comment on each one of these episodes here on IMDB as I watch them. Some are real stinkers ("Homemade Murder") and some gems ("Getting Aweigh with Murder"), but I'm watching them all and really enjoying myself.

Thank you both for trying to help me!

I FOUND IT!!! Oh, what a relief, it was making me nuts! "Hearts under Glass." This is the one where the germaphobe collector wants Jennifer in a glass box for his private collection. I didn't realize this was the one as it began, but as soon as I saw her in the striped blue and white top, I said, wait a second. Thiiiiis is kinda familiar. Then she cries a few scenes later, and it was exactly as I remembered it. And then when Jonathan is led into the collection room where Jennifer is being kept, I knew 100% this was the scene. And sure enough, it was!

This is the scene where she starts to cry at 4:51:

This is the scene when she runs to Jonathan and cries, tho it's on his shoulder, not into his shoulder :-) at 2:14

THANK YOU for trying to figure it out for me. I'm glad I didn't have to wait till season 5 for this or it would have been *quite* some time. Watching them all in order now as they air in reruns on my local channel, commenting on each one in IMDB as they air has been a major hoot! Again, thanks to you both for the suggestions and trying to help!

You freak, why would you want to watch Ms. Federkiewicz cry??

reply

You're an idiot. It's not that I wanted to see anyone cry. I wanted to identify the episode, and among the things I rememberd was that she cried. Learn to read.

I think I also remember her crying into Jonathan's arms in the episode with Mimi Rogers I think it's called Hartstruck in the 4th season. Scary episode if I do recall. But great, nonetheless.
Where have you been, Hilary? Waiting quite patiently for the latest review!
I finished all the episodes now waiting for 5 to come out. I know you say they're really bad but at least it's better then nothing. Already started again and now I'm up to man with the Jade eyes.
Hope you're well ...

Babsfan, you're so sweet! I have been in my own personal hell of busy. School stuff for my little boy, work, keeping the tivo free enough to keep recording, gah! I promise I'm going to finish the reviews! I am really grateful that anyone misses them!

This episode is definitely Harts under Glass, the one with the germaphobe who is a collector. He finally collects Jennifer, and she's freaking terrified. It's a really good ep!
