Here are my choices:

Jonathon: George Clooney

Jennifer : Julia Roberts

Everyone is, of course, entitled to their own opinion about TV/movies, etc, but I believe that a great percentage of remakes are complete duds, and I don't think a remake of Hart to Hart would be any better despite who's cast as Jonathan and Jennifer. Robert and Stefanie will always be the Harts in my and I'm sure most fans' opinions, so I guess I have no idea who should star in a remake of the show, if one were made.

Oh please, no remakes! Some writer would decide to update it and make it edgy, hip and cool (gag) and it would end up being just another pile of jaded trash. There'd probably be infidelity and each would have some deep dark secret kept from the other and stupid arcs running through the seasons. We've already got too much of that on television today.

No remake could ever match the charm of the original.

I agree with lewincon. Today's Hollywood couldn't never recapture the magic that made this show so great. They'd just end up butchering it.

There are no stars today that have the magnetism of Robert and Stephanie. Leave it alone.

I'm not sure who could play Jonathan Hart in a remake. But I think Autumn Reeser would make a delightful Jennifer Hart.

It's the stupidest idea since NBC's had since they tried a Remington Steele re-boot as a 30 minute sit-com. Whomever green-lighted it should be fired!!!!

Agreed. While there have been some remakes I have liked the majority are garbage and I think they should leave this show and come up with new ideas. Plus, I have nothing against homosexuals and my best friend is a lesbian but the idea of a gay couple as the main stars of the show is ridiculous and is a complete slap in the face to fans of the original show and the actors.
