Was Jonathan Hart married to anyone else before Jennifer?

I recalled there was an episode with the first Mrs. Hart meeting Jennifer
or am I crazy? Mind you I watched the show 35 years ago so my memory could be
play tricks on me.

I recently watched the series on Netflix and there wasn't anything like that. There was a Jennifer lookalike and a couple posing as the Harts, and a woman that claimed Jonathan was the father of her son, but he wasn't. Unless it's from the movies. I have not seen those yet.

Ryden, I also think this poster is thinking of "Jonathan Hart, Jr.," where she tries to pass off her son as Jonathan's. There was no first Mrs. Hart anywhere.

There are IIRC a few mentions of Jonathan's previous girlfriends including a rather odd display in With this Gun, I thee Wed. Jonathan seems really still taken with the old girlfriend.. It felt kind of weird.

Haha there is nothing in that episode that suggests that he was still taken with his old girlfriend.

There was an episode early on - I think it was "With this Gun, I Thee Wed" where they are invited to a wedding of the former girlfriend of Jonathan. I don't recall him being married before.

Yes, I was not an overall fan of that episode, but it had some great moments (including the bathtub). But yes, she was an old girlfriend, never married.
