I hadn't seen this in years. So I put in my que on the streaming Netflix. But I was very disappointed because the opening to the pilot was just the regular opening used through out the show and sexy opening. Is this the way it is on the DVD set as well?
It's funny, netflix is streaming the tv pilot version with the regular tv opening credits, and the closing scene where they are setting Buck up in a new apartment. That final scene on earth is not in the theatrical version on the DVD. In the theatrical version, the movie ends with Twiki sitting on Buck's lap while flying home in a fighter. In the tv version There's also a huge chop edit where Tigerman was to be kicked in the balls.
The odd thing is, the tv pilot version is NOT on the dvd. So where did Netflix get it? And why? How come they didn't just rip the original dvd for streaming?
