I just saw on Jet Li's bio page that he is in a movies with Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham called "The Expendables" due out in 2010. The plot is about a group of mercenaries that go to South America (instead of Africa) to overthrow a dictator (instead of rescuing a former President). Do you think it will have any parrallels to " The Wild Geese" and who else do you think should be in it? NOTE: I still think the "Wild Geese" remake is going to kick a$$.

As far as I believe, the two films are unconnected, despite having a similar storyline. I'm not quite sure what happened to the remake of "The Wild Geese", although it was fun to cast it, a remake could never outclass the original so perhaps not making could be for the best.
