2nd black merc

I watched this the other day and, as ever, noticed the second black mercenary (initially I thought he was Sergeant Jesse Blake (the end credits named him Sergeant Jesse, but in the recruitment sequence, he introduced himself as Sergeant Blake, Jesse) in the airport takeover when he was also rescuing Limbani) and noticed him in the dash to the plane.

I thought he climbed aboard, but he is never shown onboard the plane. I suppose he died?

He who lives by the sword will be shot by those who can't

Sgt. Jesse survives. The other blakc merc is killed as hes climbing on the plane.

He's on the plane - he's the guy who says "About Mr Janders... there was nothing else to do."

If I am not mistaken, the 2nd black merc was played by Ken Gampu.

I thought it was cool to have BLACK African Expatriates in the team. They could infiltrate the enemy if needed and (if they were from the right tribe/country/group/etc) could translate/interpret/intercept radio transmissions if need be.

There was really only ONE White merc who initially had problems with black team members, and that was Peter Coetze, but it was a really nice touch how he saw the errors of his ways and shed his own racism (only to die, but that's what made it actually tragic. He became a better man, but then immediately died).

Dr. Kila Marr was right. Kill the Crystalline Entity.
