This is a bit daft ?? Germany are getting the remastered Blu-ray version of this movie on April 15th. Why is a British movie being released overseas first before the UK ??

Received this today so for anyone who's interested.
The film has indeed been extensively remastered and looks better than I've ever seen it. All print damage has been repaired and what we have here, looks like a new digital transfer.
Considering the age of the film i highly doubt this will ever look any better than this.
The film itself is fully uncut and comes with a choice of English or German audio, both of which sound very crisp and clear without any distortion.
There is a choice of German subtitles however they do not automatically appear when selecting the English track so you don't need to mess about switching them off.
The disc has extras including documentaries and the commentary previously released on the special edition dvd.
Overall, if you want the film on blu ray and with it having a transfer that blows the dvd away, it's an excellent release
So, a very, very good release, that i can't see being bettered.
It`s been over a year now & still no UK release ?? not even in sight, what gives ??
I have been able to get a look at the german release & i agree its looks stunning except at the end of the movie. The last five minutes are of horrendous quality i thought my player had busted or something, its looks awful so i have no idea wat has gone wrong there.
