On Channel 5 Right Now

Primetime Saturday night showing on Channel 5. North Sea Hijack was on immediately before it. Someone scheduling tonight must be a Rog fan (who isnt?)

Its the TV edited version but it only cuts the *beep* out. The other colourfull language is intact.

Bottle of port, Saturday night and Wild Geese is on telly, perfect evening. Moore, Burton and Harris have so much screen presence its scary. They dont make actors like that any more unfortunaly.

It looks like the barracks attack scene has a day for night tint back in it like I remember it from childhood. Maybe not as dark but deffintily not broad daylight like on my DVD. Hope this is sorted for the Blu Ray release

Watching too! Used to watch it endlessly on video as a kid. Burton and Harris are so watchable. Great little movie, love the mad Irish priest too

Roger Moore used a lot of his star clout from the 007 success to get a lot of older actors roles in his films back in those days. David Niven in Escape To Athena, Richard Burton in Wild Geese and James Mason in North Sea Hijack. Miss those men on mission films so much. Wish someone with some bottle in this country would make another with some of the same class(not Danny Dyers Norwegian excapade).
