The scene where the aeroplane attacks them on the bridge was annoying.

A bunch of patsies would dismount from the vehicles as soon as it had stopped. An elite formation just sits there and gets strafed?

Agreed. They should have jumped out after he failed to start the truck and pushed it across the bridge perhaps with the help of Richard Burton's jeep. To just there on their arses waiting to be spotted made no sense.
