Ian Yule (Tosh) was a former SAS soldier
I was surprised to see that this British actor was a former para (as he said in the film as Tosh) and a former SAS trooper.
So he acted as arms advisor as well as his tough character.
And if I recall correctly he was also a Veteran of "Mad Mike" Hoare's Mercenary group, wasn't he?

Yes, he served in various parts of Africa as a mercenary!
