bought the dvd,did not recall how bad it was.


This film might stick to the plot of the book better than the Hitchcock version but it reminds me why British films of the 1970s had such a bad reputation.

I had seen this before on tv many years ago but I did not recall it being as bad as it seemed this time round.

I don't see any good performances and the film does not even look good.

The only thing I liked about the film was HANNAY's flat,but everybody in the film keeps calling it an apartment.

The love interest was poorly integrated into the plot and there were some really fake looking shots of Hannay hanging off the clock face, but otherwise I don't see what's so terrible about it.
