I read that Warner Bros has stopped making those cardboard cases and will now only release DVD's in the regular case. Hopefully they release a Straight Time DVD; it's one of my all-time favorites. I've never heard about an uncut version but I'm sure it would sell what with Dustin Hoffman becoming big again with Meet the Fockers.

'Stright Time' really does deserve a special DVD release, there are hundreds of thousands of people who havent seen this movie and it should get more praise.
