Dustin is my favorite actor of all time. He is amazing! And this is the only movie of his that I haven't seen yet! I don't want my first viewing of this lost masterpiece (?) to be on VHS. Come on Warners! You have kept us waiting for too long. (-I know you read this board)... Read my lips now: R-E-L-E-A-S-E! Come on, you can do it! (on dvd in case you wondered!...... lousy warners!)
shareHeh, life has it's funny ways. I have waited for years and years to see this movie, and five days after I posted the post above, I got a chance to see this movie on tv. I believe no actor in history has a better resume than dustin hoffman. This is another masterpiece in his already amazing career. The Graduate, Midnight Cowboy, Straw Dogs, Lenny, All the President's Men, Kramer Vs. Kramer, Tootsie, Rain Man are all masterpieces. And now Straight Time.
The Movie was unbelievable tense! Loved every second of it. Can't wait for the dvd!

By the way, this page was updated on April 6th, 2006 and the words "SOON TO BE RELEASED BY WARNER BROS. ON DVD" added at the top. I contacted them recently for more information but did not get an answer yet.
