"You get tired of your own obsessions, the betrayals, the voyeurism, the twisted sexuality"

Can't wait! My VHS copy was getting worn out.

I'm looking forward to the Hoffman/Grosbard commentary. Should be very interesting.

"I think that silent films got a lot more things right than talkies." --Stanley Kubrick

That commentary is going to be interesting. I remember hearing somewhere that Grosbard and Hoffman didn't get along once Grosbard took over directing. Maybe I'm wrong. Either way; I'm looking forward to the commentary.

Great news. I've seen it a couple of times a few years back, and this was a fine film. Straight Time is probably my favorite Dustin Hoffman performance.

Still waiting for another gem to be released on DVD, The Friends of Eddie Coyle.

"Dry your eyes baby, it's out of character."

Unfortunately, the DVD is now pushed back to May!

Damn Right! The Friends of Eddie Coyle is long overdue for a DVD release. I wonder what's holding the studios up. Director Peter Yates has done commentaries for his lesser films (Krull, Eyewitness) - I would love to hear a commentary for FOEC.

Super psyched about Straight Time though. The cover art looks good.
