Anybody open up a petition for this yet? if so let me know

*beep* the petition just release the *beep* thing already. My VHS copy has been played so many times over the years that it looks like someone cooked eggs and bacon on the picture. This should have been on DVD years ago already.

You offer brilliant advice. Cursing up a storm and otherwise doing nothing will certainly facilitate the conversion of Straight Time to DVD.

I already told you, I'm not signing the petition without a shotgun, you can't sign a petition without a shotgun, now the plan was that we meet your friend here with the shotgun and then we sign the petition.

I don't know if it'll do any good, but you can make your voice heard on the Turner Classic Movie site, which allows visitors to vote for films that they deem worthy of a DVD transfer. I'm the first vote for "Straight Time." Go to

I've been signing the petitions for the Wonder Years for the last 10 years and guess what.. nothing. So i'm not wasting my time anymore.. it's not up to us, it's up to the president of the united states of america.

Wonder Years is probably one of the finest comedy-dramas to come out of the states, too much drivel gets too much airspace.

from the UK, Straight Time never comes on tv, i would really like to see this.

i'm definitely for the petition. but with all this talk about high-definition players and DVDs in the near future it should come out.
