A fun memory...

I just watched this movie, which I hadn’t seen it in a long while. But it's really good and has some great performances. As a teenager, back in the summer of 1977, I recall watching them shoot some scenes near my house in Beverly Hills. I was able to hang around the set while they filmed a big shoot-out scene (which ended up getting cut from the movie) with Harry Dean Stanton and Dustin Hoffman. I also had a chance to speak briefly to Mr. Hoffman. Certainly a very memorable day!

I saw this movie last week on Cinemax for the first time in years. I had forgotten what an excellent film it is and how amazing Hoffman is in it. Thanks for sharing your personal experience with the making of the film.

Way to go man. I still wasn't born yet when this movie was shot but I love it to death.. brilliant acting.

Dustin Hoffman, one of the greatest actors of his generation and he chose many excellent projects to work on. To refresh your memory review the films he has appeared in. It is impossible to pick out a favorite movie of his!
