Oh. My. Gosh! This great movie is on for the first time on Turner Classic Movies here in the States. In High Definition! If you get TCM, it should also be available on their Watch TCM app for a week afterward.
And, hopefully, it will be on TCM or elsewhere again in HD in the future!

this is a legendary movie.
TCM is a great channel.
I just hope they don't eventually have commercials, edit and time compress movies like Bravo did.
Bravo used to be great years ago, look at it now.

i have a feeling that won't happen to TCM though. it's too sacred!
No ads, but they did add a 10-second or so footer every 20 minutes, which ruins a film - when you're just getting into it, and just about forgetting that you're watching a screen, the just-dead guy suddenly has TCM written across his forehead, or the dog runs out of a lake marked TCM, or ...
I wish they'd take off those footers - very annoying.
Other than that, great place to find a lot of treasures, including a lot of vintage shorts of everything from Robert Benchley and Our Gang to 50's "educational" films on drugs, socialization, crime, etc.
It looks rather good all cleaned up.
