I'm a bigfan of author Anders Bodelson, and am glad this film has finally come out on dvd (in spite of the lame box cover)..but I was wondering if anyone has seen the first film version of this story, made in 1969 with Bibi Andersson..see below:

I knew this film was based on a novel by that author, but had no idea there was a Scandanavian film made 10 years before it! Seems to be pretty rare...there's no reviews OR comments for it at all (and it's been five years since you posted your question!).
