How votes is needed to get this on the IMDB Top 250

It does!!
I think it must have at least 1500 votes for the top 250!(But I'm not sure!)
I'm wondered that this masterpiece has just about 500 votes!??
I thought many people know it and if not, they should watch it!!

well, how can they watch it? it's really hard to find, unless you live near by chinatown. i was fortunate enough to vacation in california and go to san francisco's chinatown, where i bought a copy of The 36th Chamber of Shaolin, and other martial arts films. I agree it's amazing and deserves to be on there.

And the voters also have to vote on other movies too. This is to prevent a massinvasion of fans of a movie to vote their movie into the topxxx lists. The rules for this is stated somewhere and are quite clear. :)
