Buying this DVD in the states

I have been reading reviews of this movie quality, and everyone says that the US sells a bootleg version that has terrible quality. I know that a hong hong company owns the rights of the moviews.
My question is, where can the digitally remastered version be bought? Any websites?

I'm not sure if you found anything out yet but a ton of Shaw Brothers films, including this one, were remastered a couple of years back and released on Region three DVD. Sound was enhanced to 5.1, beautiful anamorphic transfer, just you need an All Region DVD player.

www.hkflix.com

Or if you want to rent most of the Shaw Brothers Kung Fu Classics, try the Asian version of Netflix call eHit at www.ehit.com, they have a lot for rent and is good source for classic and modern Asian film regardless where you are at in the US. Hope this helps...good luck.

Also, I'm not a lawyer, but if you do buy the Celestrial Region 3 dvd and make a back up copy with it, it will disable the region code and then you can watch the movie in a Region 1 player and not have to dish out $80 for an all region player for just one movie, unless you plan to get more movies at different region, then you might want to invest in an all region player. Of course this is said with the assumtion that you have a DVD burner and are making back-up of all the dvd titles you currently own, so in the end, cost for cost, the price is about the same.

I just bought this movie from HKflix. I have never ordered from them before but it got here fast and I had no trouble with them. I'm pleased with the Crash Media version of this movie.

It looks like www.dragondynasty.com is gonna be releasing this movie later in the year.
I've never seen this movie but I'll more than likely be buying it then.
