who do you guys think is the best martial arts star?

what about donnie yen? tony jaa, jet lee, or chow yun fat and jackie chan

Undoubtedly, Bruce Lee. Strange, he doesn't even figure in your list.

gordon liu seems to know his kung fu quite well...dont really know anything about his background but it sure looks like he can fight!

Gordon Liu got his start in the Peking Opera, like Jackie Chan.

Gordon is, imho, the finest martial arts actor ever. Bruce Lee, while also an actor, was probably one of the finest martial artists ever. Notice the difference. Gordon makes Kung Fu look absolutely awesome. His theatrical performances are unmatched. Bruce Lee's kung fu was the real deal.

Gordon Liu wasn't Peking Opera trained. He's Hung Gar trained. Adopted kung brethren of 36th Chamber's director Lau Kar Leung, a direct martial descendant of real life folk hero Wong Fei Hung... and then deeper still.

these guys are all very skilled..

and depending on the movie, which one looks best.

Donnie Yen in Ip Man was wonderful.

Bruce Lee going into the Japanese dojo was amazing... but Jet li did a great job with that also.
