Paul's REAL cameo!

Despite a common mistake, Paul McCartney is not in the end crowd scene with the other celebrities.

He is, whoever, in "Mr. Kite." During the last shot of the 'Henry the Horse' sequence, when everyone crowds around the pantomime horse, look for Paul in a greenish-brown business suit in the middle of the screen. (On my copy, it's around 1:11:18.) He looks totally disinterested compared to everyone else, and even goes through a series of VERY Paul-esque facial expressions. :-P

Here's a screen-cap:

She's not visible in that picture, but Linda joins his side as well, and he turns to smile at her.

I just put in the movie and looked at it -- that's not Paul. When "Henry the horse dances the waltz," there's a blonde woman hanging onto his arm but that ain't Linda either. I wish in an interview someone would ask him if he appeared in this film so he can say "no" and we can end this stupid debate once and for all. If any of the Beatles had made so much as a brief cameo, Robert Stigwood would have bent over backwards to ensure they got as much coverage as Carol Channing inexplicably did in the finale!

So so so not Paul. Why won't people just accept that no Beatle has anything to do with this movie apart from writing the songs.
